Special Treatment

The original cuForms engine does not produce forms that display well on mobile devices. The engine has now been upgraded to produce forms using HTML5 syntax, which will re-size automatically to display appropriately on mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

In order to display a form in HTML5, add the key-value pair “&htmltype=html5” to the form URL - eg https://www.moneywiseforms.org.uk/runform.php?article_id=518&htmltype=html5

Notes

  • When using the editor, all forms will still display in HTML4 - you should test all forms to check they display correctly in HTML5 during testing
  • The following field types are not yet supported for HTML5:
  • Table, User Login, Select Password, Quantity, Cash Amount - please ask if you need to be able to use any of these field types in HTML5 forms
